About EWS
Eman Welfare Society grew out of long-standing voluntary welfare work in District Swabi — motivated social workers, professionals, and volunteers who had been serving their neighbours for years. It was formally registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 to institutionalize that work, strengthen governance, and scale impact across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the merged districts.
EWS believes community problems require community-owned solutions — supported by ethical leadership, sound systems, and practical interventions.
Approved financial and programmatic policies, proper records, regular reviews, and full compliance with provincial and national laws.
Service is delivered with equity, inclusion, and respect for diversity — with dignity at the heart of every program.
What we do
EWS responds to both chronic vulnerabilities and emergency needs — practical, sustainable support for the people who need it most.
First aid and quick medical relief, snake-bite and dog-bite vaccine support, blood donation for thalassemia patients, and care for prisoners and vulnerable patients.
Ramadan Dastarkhwan and food distribution, assistive support for persons with disabilities, help for orphans and widows, and legal aid facilitation.
Sewing and stitching centers, skills for home-based businesses, and support for women's enrollment in technical and vocational training.
Education assistance for deserving students, a public library and learning space, Holy Quran distribution, and youth sports tournaments.
Tree plantation campaigns with local communities, cleanliness and environmental awareness, and anti-dengue and anti-malaria fumigation support.
Flood relief and recovery for affected families in Swabi and neighboring districts — food, relief items, and coordinated support during disasters.
Drug addiction rehabilitation support, recognition events for students, journalists, educators, and social contributors, and martyrs remembrance activities.
